As a massive MasterChef fan I was super excited to be asked along to Woodkraft Cheltenham to taste and review their food as Woodkraft is the latest venture from MasterChef winner 2015 Simon Wood.
Even better is that they are Dog Friendly so Coops could join us to.
My Hubby and I are massive fans of popping out for Brunch on the weekends we have off work together, so finding out there was a new Dog Friendly place to try was amazing news as we always like to include Cooper in our plans whatever we do.
Woodkraft Cheltenham is an artisan eatery situated at number 13 Regent Street which is situated in the heart of Cheltenham and has plenty of seating with three flours available to dinners. You can order at the counter or table service is available on request. The Ethos at Woodkraft is to use the best local Seasonal Produce with the philosophy of farm to fork supporting small scale local growers and producers. They have an amazing Brunch, Lunch, Kids and Sunday menus available but they can also cater for larger groups and special occasions on request.
Our first impressions upon walking in were that it was clean, modern, light and bright inside and the staff all greeted Cooper with lots of kindness and cuddles which he loved. We ordered some Lattes to start and I was so excited when mine came to the table with dog foam art on the top!!! Not forgetting about the actual coffee which was very good to!
My go to Brunch dishes are always either Eggs Benedict or Bacon & Maple Syrup pancakes, on this occasion I went for the latter and I was not disappointed at all! Definitely the best pancakes I’ve had in Cheltenham for a while, plenty of Maple Syrup which is always a good thing in my book. My hubby opted for the Woodkraft Breakfast and as he’s a little fussy with certain foods he asked to swap the mushroom and fried egg for a hash brown which was absolutely no problem at all. He thoroughly enjoyed his breakfast and I must admit I stole one of his Hash Browns and I can confidently say they were the best Hash Brows I’ve ever had!!!
As well as amazing Brunch food there’s also a delectable selection of cakes and pastries to eat in or take away. My personal favorites are the Cruffins which are a combination of Croissants and Muffins! SO GOOD! You can also pick up a copy of Simon Wood’s debut Cookbook if you feel inspired to head home and start cooking away.
There’s also an impressive drinks menu which caters from Coffees to teas to Soft Drinks to alcoholic drinks should you so desire. Obviously the Dog art topped Latte is a must!
We were very impressed with not just the food and drink but the incredible service and the warm welcome Cooper received. It’s always just so lovely when somewhere really is just that extra bit Dog Friendly.
We’d definitely recommend popping into Woodkraft Cheltenham next time you’re looking for somewhere dog friendly to enjoy a very delicious Brunch. You will not be dissapointed and you never know you may spot us in there as we will definitely be back very soon.
Happy adventures, Fi & Coops xXx
