We were so excited to be invited along to the Launch of Widbrook Granges new Doggy Birthday Party’s which are the pawfect way to celebrate your pups special occasion in style.
Widbrook Grange is situated just down the road from the beautiful town of Bradford-on-Avon and is very proud to be a Dog Friendly hotel. They completely understand that we love our four legged friends and want them to come along with us and offer a few dog friendly rooms that up to two pups can stay with you in. They do charge an extra £15 per pup per night but they will receive a warm welcome, a comfy bed and some special treats.
Now as for the Doggy Birthday Party’s they provide they really were something else! On arrival at the hotel they had set up their outside area just for us with balloons, bunting, pupcakes, party hats, birthday cakes, doggy biscuits, tennis balls and party bags to take away! Literally the works!
When it comes to organizing your pawty you can completely tailor make your birthday package. Depending on how many furends you have coming you can choose not only the size of the cake but what flavour you’d like. There is vegan Cheese & flaxseed, carrot & pumpkinor banana & maple syrup. These are all decorated with lackto-free cream cheese, sweet potato or potato & beetroot icing. You can also choose to add pupcakes, cookies & biscuits, again all with varying flavours to choose from. All the baked goods are made by local bakers Wag Wins.
“All ingredients used do not cause your canine friends harm nor will affect their digestive system. We used ingredients that benefit the dogs health to help them live a long happy life. All ingredients used are sustainably sourced. Any questions relating to the ingredients please do not hesitate to contact us“
You can also choose to add on a Dog Party Accessories pack which includes a Bow Tie, party hat & Neckerchiefs, Balloons, Bunting & Table cloth plus a bottle of Pawsecco each.
Obviously the best thing about having a Birthday Party with your friends is the games afterwards and they sure had a lot of fun playing in the garden together. There was even a Giant chess set to play with if you so desired if chase isn’t your thing.
If you’re not looking to host a birthday party why not stop by for a Doggy afternoon tea instead? (Pre Booking needed) You can enjoy the most amazing spread with possibly the best scones I’ve ever had, whilst your pup can enjoy a mouthwatering selection themselves. They can choose from goodies such as gluten free Oven baked chicken and herb bones, various Lilly’s Kitchen meals and finished off with a Puppachino or Pawsecco.
We had a fabulous time at Widbrook Grange and we are definitely thinking about booking a weekend break there at some point to enjoy a Doggy Afternoon Tea and to sample some of the amazing Gins they have on offer in their Gin Bar.
We would also love to explore more of Bradford Upon Avon including the amazing Doghouse BOA which has so many amazing goodies as well as a cafe and groomers.
Have you ever been to a Doggy Birthday Party or Afternoon Tea? What’s you favourite thing about it?
Happy Adventures, Fi & Coops xXx
